S. Glenn Brown
Board MemberReceived his MFA from the University of Utah in Theatre, and a BA from Westminster College in Art. He is excited to be a board member of the Great Salt Lake Fringe after having participated in the inaugural festival. When he isn’t creating art, he is building puppets, writing plays, and the Co-Artistic Director of the Theatre of Perpetual Non-Reality.
Linda L. Brown
Linda is thrilled to be a member of the board for the Great Salt Lake Fringe. She received her MFA in Directing from the University of Utah, and is a licensed Drama teacher for ages K-12. She also enjoys building puppets, designing, and managing Brown’s House, which develops books for English Language Learners. She, along with her husband S. Glenn Brown, are Co-Artistic Directors of their company the Theatre of Perpetual Non-Reality
Summer Dawn Shumway

Mark Fossen has worked as an actor, director, dramaturg, and teacher in the Salt Lake Area since 2005. His directing credits include work with the University of Utah, Westminster College, The Grand Theatre, Pinnacle Acting Company, Wasatch Theatre, Utah Repertory, and Silver Summit. As an actor, he has been seen in many Plan-B Theatre shows, including Clearing Bombs, for which he won the 2014 City Weekly ARTY award for Best Theatre Performance. Other local acting credits include work with PYGmalion, Meat & Potato, and Salt Lake Shakespeare. National credits include work at the California and Idaho Shakespeare Festivals, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, San Francisco’s Thick Description, and Chicago’s legendary Steppenwolf. He is a graduate of the University of Utah’s Theatre Studies Program, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and is currently pursuing an MFA at the University of Idaho in Theatre Studies. L. L. (Larry) West is a teacher, director and playwright. He has taught and directed at the University of Utah, Weber State University, Texas Woman’s University, Boise State University, International College – Ulaanbaarar, Mongolia and Wabash College in Indiana. He has directed over 200 university and professional productions in Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Minnesota, Texas, North Carolina, Indiana and Pennsylvania. His plays have been performed at UNLV (PEYOTE JOKES), Indiana University of Pennsylvania (FAUST III), Utah Shakespeare Festival (workshop production of WHISTLER’S MOTHER’S SON), Pygmalion Productions (REMINGTON & WEASEL), and the Great Salt Lake Fringe (THE WEYWARD SISTERS). Currently he serves as Producer for Pinnacle Acting Company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Directing from the University of Oregon.
