FULL SYNOPSIS: Manic Pixie Nightmare is a one person show deconstructing the infamous “Manic Pixie Dream Girl" archetype that has plagued the lives of quirky independent women for centuries, but has been exposed greatly during the 21st century, on and off screen. Either she is someone you know, someone you adore, someone you envy, because she always has the right thing to say, the most optimistic outlook, because she is someone who seems to appear when you need her most, and disappears leaving you an important life lesson. She is the perfect person to come into your life and inspire you and then leave you with a new sense of self and drive for life. But who cares who she is when she is out of sight right? Because anyone can pop in and play the ideal woman to the right person in need, right?
